Neem, Bentonite & Rhassoul clay mask

Neem is an herb of choice for skin diseases because it has proven to be highly effective in treating disorders like psoriasis, acne, eczema, itching and dandruff. Neem has been used for treating all sorts of skin problems for thousands of years and is considered to be equal or even superior to aloe in its properties. Bentonite clay is a sedimentary clay composed of weathered and aged volcanic ash. It is mined, dried and then ground. Because of its absorptive properties it is ideal for use in deep cleansing, clarifying of the skin, facial masks, body wraps, detoxification and many other uses. A clay mask with Bentonite draws excess oils and debris to the surface of your skin, boosts circulation to tighten the skin and stimulate blood flow and whisks away dead skin cells that can clog pores.

Rhassoul clay has been used for centuries as a soap, shampoo and skin conditioning mask. Rhassoul clay was used in ancient Rome and Egypt by the nobility and today it remains a favourite with upscale spas worldwide. When applied to the skin , it draws out toxins from deep within. At the same time it replenishes the skin with nourishing earth minerals.

Directions: Mix to a paste with warm water to desired consistency. Leave for 10 minutes to expand. Spread over clean skin and allow to dry. Temporary reddening of the skin may occur, this is normal as the clays will increase the blood circulation to the skin, which aids in the healing process.
